Wonderfully situated in the ancient
centre of the beautiful and historic small town of Cetona, where is not
possible to drive, this warm and welcoming house makes the perfect base from
which to explore the many and varied treasures of Tuscany. |

Casa Camelia is hundreds of years old but
is newly refurbished with hand-made local tile floors and has a light and
spacious ambience and is easily capable of accommodating up to six people.
Perfect for a couple, family or small
groups (4 - 6 guests), the Casa Camelia is ideally located, a short walk from
Piazza Garibaldi, the centre of Cetona with its inviting restaurants, bars and
shops. |

The front door opens onto a large
sitting room with two sofas TV and stereo. Off this is a dining area and a
well-equipped full kitchen with a 4-ring gas hob, oven, microwave and fridge.
Hidden under the stairs is a
washing-machine.
The stairs lead up to the first floor, with
two double bedrooms and a beautiful new shower room with shower, wash basin and
WC.

Further stairs lead up to a large bed-sitting
room with fantastic views. Off this room is another shower room, with shower,
bidet, wash basin and WC.
Although unmodernised, this bathroom
does benefit from another splendid view of Monte Cetona. The terrace is an
ideal spot for keeping cool in the middle of summer and relaxing with a glass of
wine. |

Amenities include a washing machine, satellite television, dvd
player, cd player with i-pod connection and broadband internet access. Casa
Camelia remains fairly cool in summer but there are fans if required. The house
also benefits from central heating and there is a fully-functioning wood fire.
Your bags will be transported up to Casa Camelia from your car (and v.v.) free
of charge.
Please note, being an ancient house, the
bedroom ceilings in Casa Camelia bedrooms tend to slope and so might not be
suitable for particularly tall guests. |
