In the beautiful countryside of Cetona, just 4 km from the town, in the famous area of Belverde, is this charming stone farmhouse, restored respecting the typical Tuscan buildings.
With an area of 110 square meters, it is spread over three levels connected by an internal spiral staircase in wrought iron, the work of a local artisan.
The main entrance opens onto the pleasant living room with fireplace where single-leaf windows offer a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. The small kitchen is very functional and bright . Outside, a large canopy provides a spacious shaded area where a large wooden table can accommodate numerous guests for pleasant outdoor meals .
In the external stone wall some steps go down to the old cellar carved in tuff, closed by a wrought iron door.
An avenue in the shade of a pergola of wistaria, opens on a unique view of the garden, by about 2,200 sqm, with tall trees and a splendid olive grove (25 plants in production).
From the living room you go up to the first floor where there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Always from the living room, you go down to the basement floor, where there is a bedroom/ living room with single-leaf windows very bright and a corridor where there are two large closets of which one with window. This floor is also accessed by a French-door that overlooks the garden.
Heating is LPG. while water is connected to the public pipeline.
The ceilings are with wooden beams , terracotta and wooden floors.
From the property you can enjoy a unique view of Mount Cetona, lush with oaks and cypresses, witness of a history that goes back to 225 million years ago when it was covered by the sea, until the first prehistoric settlements whose finds are preserved in the Museum of Prehistory of the country.
